Project Marigold stands as the flagship initiative of Arborea Group, a state-of-the-art Combined Cycle Gas Turbine (CCGT) power plant and associated gas pipeline. With a vision to electrify the region and power value-enhancing assets, Marigold is not just an infrastructural project but a beacon of progress.
The power plant is strategically positioned to address critical infrastructural gaps, supporting the digital economy of Indonesia. With a potential capacity of up to 1GW over 20 years, Marigold is set to uplift a region characterised by the lowest electrification rates in the country.
Beyond electricity provision, Project Marigold contributes to Indonesia's commitment to becoming carbon neutral by 2060. Utilising natural gas, it aligns with the country's strategy to increase the share of gas-fired power plants in its energy mix. The project is a crucial step in Indonesia's energy transition, providing environmentally friendly use for abundant natural gas. The plant is also designed for hydrogen ready usage as long term use case.
